Look, I screwed up last week. I forgot that I was supposed to do a WYFP diary last Saturday night. Allow me to rend my garments and beg your forgiveness. We can read entrails if necessary.
WYFP is our community's Saturday evening gathering to talk about our problems, empathize with one another, and share advice, pootie pictures, favorite adult beverages, and anything else that we think might help. Everyone and all sorts of troubles are welcome. May we find peace and healing here. Won't you please share the joy of WYFP by recommending?

I didn’t see a diary in the queue tonight, and no one was scheduled, so figured maybe I could pick up the slack. If someone else pops in with a WYFP diary, I’ll delete this.
What’s my FP? Loyalty. When you pledge someone your all, and total effort in the endeavor, but then you get stabbed in the back by someone else who gets wind that your project might just actually be successful — it hurts.
I suppose many of us have been through this cycle in life. You join on early with a “startup” (company or political campaign or your cause du jour) and then when success starts to actually happen, all of a sudden high power people (or groups) that were laughing at you six months earlier want a piece of the pie. It’s so predictable.
You laid the groundwork when the cause seemed hopeless.
Now, when the cause seems within reach, someone else wants production credit at the end of the day because of the groundwork you laid when no one else believed.
I’ll get a bit more specific in the comments if you need me to be, but I think my experiences over the past week are kind of universal, and span all sectors (not just political).
