Welcome to WYFP, our weekly meeting for the airing of our grievances. I hope that you all survived the holidays with family and friends. Here is my Christmas story, but first a word from our sponsors:

Blue jersey dad and I come from small families, and they have gotten smaller over the years. BJD’s brother, Tommy, was 10 years older than BJD, and he passed away unexpectedly 40 years ago. Tommy was only in his early 40s at the time. I never had a chance to meet him. We have kept in touch with his daughter, Sharon, who was only about 7 or 8 when her dad passed. However, we lost touch with Tommy’s older daughter, Elizabeth, from his first marriage decades ago. We found her on the Book of Face yesterday!! My kids have a new cousin, and we have rediscovered a branch of our family tree. As a result, I really don’t have any FPs tonight.

Update. We have been chatting with Elizabeth. She has a daughter and 6! grandkids. Lots of new relatives.
