I feel like a leftover. Not a Leftover, but definitely someone always picked last for the team.
The other residents in my building have a disturbing habit of following me around the building when staff isn’t here, as if I’m an animal in a zoo and they’re a zookeeper who are afraid I’m going to escape. Nevermind where I would go. I have no access to any money, where could I go?
My next door neighbor has been busy driving me crazy this week. She had an overnight guest on Thanksgiving and this morning, I came out of my apt at 1230pm to find her lazy boy chair blocking my door. Talk about leaving a (silent) message.
Since moving into the Rose, I’ve gotten some weird mail, for people who either don’t exist or people who are trying to make others believe they live here instead of me. I got some junk this week for US Bank, a bank I’ve never used and don’t have an account with. These people moved with me the year I spent at the Rex Arms, and when I moved back to the Rose, they came with me. very odd.
When I’m in the pc room, they sometimes come in and pull the blind down, as if they’re afraid someone will see them (or me) at the computer.
I took a finance class in the building and received 3 gift cards for Amazon, unfortunately, because I can’t access my email account, I can’t order anything. It's very frustrating, Every time I get a new phone or email, something happens and they become unusable or inaccessible.
For the last week, I’ve kept my backpack taped up in a box in my closet, it’s so liberating not to have to worry about my stuff in this place, too bad I’ll have to unpack it soon to run some errands.
