I’m having a crappy week. I’ve got neighbors slamming doors again, one who likes to sit in the tub room next to my room and running the water all night. I don't want to know she’s doing in there all night. One resident likes to nap in the PC room all night when she has a room upstairs. No matter where I live, it seems I get neighbors who try to keep me awake all night. I got my wifi box from Xfinity but it still won’t work, it just keeps flashing. The video games on my laptop wouldn’t load for two weeks. It just goes on and on. We lost another Mgr due to long Covid. My horrible next door neighbor moved out in the Summer according to staff but I saw/heard her in the doorway of her apt two weeks ago. They installed a TV in the community room in May, still haven’t bothered to hook it up to cable so there is still no TV to watch. I was supposed to receive a $500 gift card from a state program to buy electronic appliances, but it never showed up but, I got a letter from a bank talking about a new debit card in my name but I don’t have and have never banked with this bank and both letters disappeared from my backpack while I was asleep and staff refuse to do anything about it. I ended up buying my laptop with stimulus money last year. I’m just tired of this place
I’m anxious about the election. I’m also remembering my Dad (the good, the bad and the ugly) today, which would have been his 100th birthday.
