I sit here on Saturday afternoon, typing up tonight’s WYFP (“What’s Your Fµ©king Problem” for the new kids) in the family room of our new house. To say that concrete and geodesic math don’t seem to work too well together is an understatement, with the efflorescence from leaks. Must be the 6 decimal place numbers in the chord tables. We are waiting for the weather to cool off below 80° F so the paint/plaster contractor can apply more sealer onto the dome, then work on patching and repainting inside. After that, we can start accelerating moving in, and disposing of the Chicago house. We’ll probably end up voting in Chicago in November, though.
Meanwhile, we still need a host for next Saturday’s August 25th) WYFP, and September is coming, with your’s truly tied up for a get together of my wife’s sibs and sibs-in-law, with her youngest sister being in town. I’d sure like to see some volunteers:
